Not so scary halloween party
OOOooooooo spoooooky.
So for the last couple days both Barry and I had been building the anticipation in Chloe. We told her how we were all going to a big party at Disney, that we'd see Mickey, get candy, have a lot of fun...we even worked on saying 'trick or treat'.
So Thursday night we are just about to leave for the big Halloween Party. I'm feeding Fox and Chloe is climbing around on the couch next to me all excited and asking questions...gonna see Mickey Mouse? Minnie, too? And I'd tell her yes, and also Goofy, and Donald Duck. I look down at Fox and then glance over at Chloe. She's completely ZONKED! Totally sleeping on the pillows next to me. I guess she had gotten sooo excited that her body shut down.

So she snoozed for the next 20 or so minutes while I finished getting Fox fed, and got all the things we were taking with us together, then we had to wake her up. She was pretty foggy for a while, but soon was bright eyed and bushy tailed.
We were really worried about the weather. It had been raining for most of the day, and the previous day is was down pours. So, we didn't dress Chloe in her princess finery like we'd wanted to. We put her in her cute little Halloween outfit that we had bought last year. Just for kicks I put her witches outfit on from last year and she can still wear it. I'll have to do a photo session with her sometime soon. She makes the cutes witch!

Fox went as a very handsome Devil!!!
We met Thomas, Na', Brady, and Michael at the Polynesian hotel and rode the monorail over to Magic Kingdom. The crowd was a lot bigger then what we anticipated!

We made our way over to Fantasyland and rode Buzzlight year. Chloe had been on it before, but it was Fox's first time. He did great. Lots to see on that ride.
Chloe didn't want to hold the lever that spins the "ship" so Fox and I did that while Barry shot at the aliens. Fox handled the spinning pretty darn well, I must say.

Brady and Chloe play around after the ride. Brady went as Sleeping Beauty.

Me and Fox after riding Buzzlight Year!

We made our way over to the first area that was giving out candy. Disney has all these stations around the park where you line up and they give you candy.
Ya can't go wrong there!
Gotta give Disney credit...they gave out good candy, not the cheap stuff we hand out.

We gave Chloe her first piece of Halloween chocolate for the year...white chocolate crunch. She partook of another pancake. Her expression was rapture!

We walked over to the teacup ride. I wasn't too sure about how Chloe would handle it. I don't know why I worried.
Here is Barry strapping Chloe in.

Of course, she handled it like a champ. Barry said she clapped her hands and tried to help him spin the cup around once she figured out that's what he was doing. Our fearless little girl.
After that we went over to Toon Town where Chloe road her first rollercoaster! I was skeptical that she'd even be able to ride it...but she made the height requirement with an inch to spare.
Again, she handled this ride like the champ she is. Barry said she kept her arms up the whole time and then clapped when it was over and the train was pulling into the station. I wish I had been able to get a photo of her ridding the coaster, but with the speed of the coaster, and as dark as it was, I couldn't get it. And this isn't a wussy roller coaster! There's some pretty steep hills and tough backs considering it's a kiddy coaster. I made Barry promise he'd hold her. TIGHT!

But it looks like we have another roller coaster enthusiast in the family! Booya!
Thinking about what she wants to ride next.
We were on our way to the Haunted Mansion (or course you have to ride that at the Halloween Party!) when we came across this area that was set up so kids could dance.

And dance she did!
![](http://chloe-fox.com/uploaded_images/Picture%20050a-780653.jpg)
She loves to grooove to the tunes!
The mouse from Cinderella came out on the floor to dance. Chloe kept running up to her and dancing. A couple times she got behind the mouse and got knocked down only to bounce up and start dancing again.

I guess the one of the staffers got anxious, because he came over to the mouse and pointed out that Chloe was getting knocked about. So whoever was playing the mouse was more careful after that. I think Chloe would have rather been knocked around.

And one, two, three...KICK!

Chloe liked this hula dancer. She'd run up to her and poke her finger in this strange girls belly button and then lift her shirt and show the girls hers!
Chloe thought it was the most amazing thing that this girl was walking around showing her belly button.
We worry about Chloe's shyness and lack of outgoingness.
Ha!
After that the special Halloween fireworks started. They were fantastic!!!
![](http://chloe-fox.com/uploaded_images/Picture%20055a-766141.jpg)
Chloe never has liked fireworks. Yep, she fearlessly rides rollercoasters, and spiinning rides, but when the fireworks start, it's not a pretty sight.
![](http://chloe-fox.com/uploaded_images/Picture%20020-708994.jpg)
Yeah, not going well.
Luckily there was a little play area off to the side with slides and other activities. We played there while the fireworks finished.

After that, we closed the park out. The party was over at Midnight and we stayed the whole time. After 10:00 the crowd lessed ALOT!
We racked up on the candy after that. In fact, one employee stopped us and gave us a HUGE full to the brim back o' candy.
Sweet.
We went home after that and fell into a deep, deep sleep, while sugared pumpkins danced in our heads.
