Our budding artist!

So I come home from work today and after all the greatings of each of the family members, I notice a doodle on the floor. We just bought Chloe the 96 crayon box (which I always had wanted...AND with the super crayon sharpner on the back, natch!) and she loves to draw with them. We draw all kinds of things.
I look down and her paper and am kinda amazed. I ask her what it is and she looks at me as if to say 'duh'!
Then she says 'whale, Mommy!'. I could tell what it looked like to me, but had to make sure.

So I ask Barry if he's been helping Chloe draw and if he's seen what she's drawn. He says no. So we take the drawing into the office to show Barry.
Both of us were pretty darned impressed. Maybe it's just a rorschach test kinda thing and we both could see the same thing in it, but before she confirmed it, I saw the tail, I saw the body and the fin.
Pretty creepy smart two year old we got there.

At first bite

So December 20th was the BIG day. Fox tried solid foods for the very first time. He wrinkled his nose but you could see him moving the mixed cereal around on his tongue trying to see what this new tasty mosel was.

He was kinda "if-y" on the next bite or two, but after that he's had NO problems eating more.

What a voracious appitite he has. He eats a full baby food jar of stage one foods, in addition to about 2oz if not more of mixed cereal.

Tonight he had a huge bowl of mixed cereal mixed with prunes, and earlier today he had mixed cereal with a 4 oz jar ofsquash. He's liked all the veggie and fruit stuff I've given him. The only thing he's not liked was a jar of chicken in chicken broth. I can't fault him, I certainly thought it smelled bad when I openned it. I wouldn't have eaten it.

My little boy is sure growing and growning fast.

Yer so busted yet again!

So once again I couldn't find Chloe. I called and called and walked around the house...but she was nowhere to be found. Then I walked into the dinning room/aviary and there she was.

She loves to get her fingers in the birds food and water (usually it's just the finches since she's found they won't attack her like the big birds do).

She was blissfully unaware of me grabbing my camera and taking a couple pics before I called out to her and let her know she was BUSTED.

She just giggled and laughingly said "Mommmmyyyyy".
